Apartments Etc is committed to making apartmentsetc.com usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, and keyboard-only navigation. We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What we have done

Given listing pages a proper heading structure, starting with a single top-level page heading, so the page can be navigated by headings.
Associated a visible label with every form control on our search and cost-calculator forms, so screen reader users know what each field is for.
Made interactive controls reachable and operable with the keyboard.
Provided text alternatives for meaningful images.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix. Some third-party content embedded on our listing pages, such as maps, virtual tours, and property media, is served by other providers and is not fully under our control. We continue to review the site and to work with those providers to improve access.
